Classification: | Phylum: Arthropoda | Class: Insecta | Order: Hemiptera | Family: Psyllidae | Genus: Paurocephala |

Since I was not able to find its identity to the species level, I had called it the Jackfruit psyllid since its host plant was Jackfruit Tree (Artocarpus heterophyllus). The discovery took place in May 2017 while I was checking on other hoppers on a Jackfruit tree. The nymphs were guarded by the Yellow Crazy Ant (Anoplolepis gracilipes).

The two psyllid were actually in the process of laying the eggs. There was no particular arrangement of the eggs as they were placed randomly on the leaf. Since the ones with a lighter thorax were laying eggs (female), those with a darker colour had to be the male.
